Every member of the kitchen team has a vital role in the success of our Food and Beverage operations.

You will have the chance to work with some of the best in this wonderful industry. We have a number of food outlets across our two clifftop hotels, giving you the opportunity to learn skills across a number of restaurants and food styles.

You will develop your skills with us and through our relationships with colleges and training providers, giving you the knowledge and qualifications to thrive in your career.

The job role includes:

  • All fresh food creative menu offering safe and adventurous dishes changing monthly
  • This is a high paced busy kitchen, be prepared to work hard
  • All basic culinary skills required with Food hygiene knowledge and experience necessary
  • Attention to detail through preparation, execution and cleanliness are all a must to be able to fit into this professional team
  • A desire to achieve top results, with a personal goal to move into the next level of Sous chef

You will work closely with our senior kitchen team who will guide you through all you need to know to become a successful chef or hospitality professional.

We offer: £9.50 per hour offering a permanent contract of 40 to 45 hours per week (depending on age) this includes 1 day a week college attendance. You will work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. There are a number of additional perks that will be discussed at interview.

Desired qualifications

GCSE or equivalent at Grade D/3 or above in maths and English is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate. These subjects will be studied via a block week per subject at college if required in order to complete the full apprenticeship.

Things to consider

You must ensure you have suitable travel arrangements in place to get to and from work and to attend college one day a week (term time only) for a minimum of 12 months.
