Based in our finance team, you'll be assisting with the weekly contractor payroll, invoicing, and ensuring timesheets are submitted and approved on time. You'll also be dealing with contractor and client queries each day.

Your duties will include:
- Assist with day-to-day duties of the external Contractor payroll, including the running of the weekly contractor payroll
- Dealing with incoming queries relating to client invoicing
- Generation of Contractor/Permanent invoices
- Continual general maintenance of CRM system
- Telephone answering and message taking
- Dealing incoming and outgoing post/emails
- Greeting and welcoming visitors
- General ad-hoc tasks such as photocopying, filing
- Supporting the Finance Manager & Finance Team as and when required

Upon completing your apprenticeship, you will achieve a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. You will be permitted study time to keep up with your qualification and will be able to liaise with any member of staff for support. We are all happy to help our colleagues.

Future prospects

Things to consider
22 days annual leave – this doesn’t include bank holidays. Annual leave increases yearly until 25 days
