Hair Professional Apprentices required now based in the Oxford salon. This is a great opportunity to train as a hairdresser with international award-winning hairdresser Anne Veck and her team.

As well as working and learning in the salons (expect to broaden your experience from time-to-time in the Bicester salon) this employer offers amazing opportunities to work on shows, courses and photoshoots.

Day-to-day duties to include:

  • Shampooing
  • Cleaning
  • Reception
  • Customer service
  • Supplying clients with refreshments

No prior skills required as full training will be provided.

Personal qualities

  • You will need to have a warm and approachable character with an interest in the hair industry
  • The right candidate will need to have confidence in dealing with clients face-to-face and on the telephone
  • You will need to be eager to learn and have the willingness to learn new skills

Desired qualifications

GCSE (or equivalent) grade A*-C/9-4 in English and maths. Without these qualifications, additional Functional Skills training will be provided by Introtrain.

Things to consider

The current ANMW is £4.81 per hour for apprentices aged 16-18 and also for those aged 19+ for the first year of their apprenticeship.  The ANMW is paid for all hours worked and those spent on off the job training.
