The Internal Sales Administration Apprentice will:
Be a key part of the company, learning a wide range of engineering skills across milling and turning.
Ensuring sales orders are processed accurately – just this one point requires an understanding of our processes, systems, procedures, learning about the various materials we work with and having good relationships with estimating, production and order processing. There is a lot to learn on this role.
Customer service - speaking to existing customers, understanding what needs to be escalated and what can be dealt with by the apprentice. You will receive full telephone training first – our service is what gives us our good reputation and we want to ensure that the Apprentice is shown the ActionPlas way, every step of the way.

- Receive on-the-job training with full support from the team
- On successful completion of apprenticeship, move into a permanent position at ActionPlas

Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Definitely need to have a keen eye for detail. Accuracy is paramount to this role
- Communication skills – the Apprentice will deal with various people in various situations so they need to show that they are confident in speaking to people
Personal qualities
- Attitude – big one for us – if the Apprentice has a good work ethic and has a positive attitude then they will fit in well to the team and to our ethos
Desired qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent at grade 4/C in English and maths is desired but not essential
Future prospects
- On successful completion of apprenticeship, move into a permanent position at ActionPlas.
