Gardner Aerospace are looking for an apprentice to join the company, working within the Inspection department.
Within this area, you will be carrying out Inspection work on aerospace components. To fit within your college course, you will also be carrying out duties within the Machining workshop. Other duties will include:
- Inspection
- Milling
- Turning
- 3-axis / 5-axis
- CMM Operating
- Caliberation
- Assisting and shadowing engineers
- Other workshop duties as required by managers/supervisors

Desired qualifications
GCSE C/4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
Future prospects
All apprentices are expected to become top skilled machinists, sheet metal workers or inspectors. Gardner promotes from within and 90% of all supervisors, managers and even the MD were once apprentices.

After a period of foundation skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:
