Gardner Aerospace are looking for an apprentice to join the company, working within the Machining department.
Within this area, you will be carrying out Machining operations on aerospace components. Other duties will include:
- 3-axis / 5-axis
- CMM Operating
- Assisting and shadowing engineers
- Other workshop duties as required by managers/supervisors
Requirements and prospects
Basic Engineering skills
Good work ethic
4 or above in Maths and English or level 2 equivalent
All apprentices are expected to become top skilled machinists, sheet metal workers or inspectors. Gardner promotes from within and 90% of all supervisors, managers and even the MD were once apprentices.
