You'll complete a Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor apprenticeship and gain industry awards in outdoor activities.
Your usual week will consist of a range of tasks: from being out on session to site maintenance and safety checks. You will also become familiar with the sales and marketing teams, working closely together to help all areas of the business run smoothly.
You will begin your apprenticeship by shadowing and assisting our qualified and experienced instructors on sessions. As you begin gaining your own skills, you will be able to run your own sessions and get some real on the job experience.

- Outdoor experience and a love for the outdoors.
- Be fit enough to take on the role of activity leader.
- You'll need to be a motivated, honest and confident person.
Personal qualities
- We are looking for motivated and honest young people. We can take both school leavers and those a bit older and wiser looking for a new opportunity. Being over 18 will be an advantage as many of the awards are not valid until you reach this age.
Desired qualifications
- Key skills or GCSE at C/4 or above or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
Future prospects
- Potential of continued employment after the apprenticeship and further training opportunities.
Things to consider
- Experience in outdoor activities will be an advantage.
- Happy and prepared to work outdoors in all great British weather.
