Smallworld IT are working with PETA to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised individual to join the team as a Business Administration Apprentice. You will be creating a buzz in administering the business, staying ahead of others while delivering a service that is second to none. The Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assisting colleagues in day-to-day business
  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Responding to general customer enquiries
  • Logging customer requests
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Managing the CRM System
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Managing suppliers
  • General accounting

It is important that the Business Administration Apprentice meets the following criteria:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills in all aspects of the business
  • Confident with speaking on the telephone & face to face; excellent telephone manner
  • Good IT Skills including the use of MS Office

  • Ability to use initiative and to be proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use social media sites to support with Marketing

Personal qualities

  • An interest in the IT industry will be advantageous

Desired qualifications

  • To be considered for the role, you will also require GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade 4/C.
