The team at Trevose Golf and Country Club are looking to appoint a friendly and efficient individual to ensure that every customer interaction delivers a great customer experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your career, giving you valuable on-the-job experience while working towards an industry recognised qualification.
The apprentice will be supported to enhance their practical skills, knowledge and responsibilities.
Typical duties will include:
- Welcoming new guests for check in
- Greeting guests
- Answering phone calls
- Taking bookings using bespoke booking software
- Dealing with customer enquiries; emails, phone calls, face to face
- Handling guest departures, processing bills and taking payments
- Front of house and main reception

Things to consider
This formal college training will commence in September, though a short term employment appointment is available, commencing from May/June 2021.
Please ensure this meets with your availability for both.

Trevose Golf and Country Club was founded in 1925. Designed by Harry Colt it ranks as one of the top links golf courses in the British Isles.
As proud host of The Brabazon Trophy (2008), The McGregor Trophy (2012), the English Men’s County Finals (2017) and the European Legends Links Championship, Trevose offers a unique golfing experience 12 months of the year.
The facilities include the Harry Colt designed 18 hole Championship Course, two further 9 hole course’s and extensive practice facilities.

This Level 2 Apprenticeship will be delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and attendance at Cornwall College St. Austell. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.
