Working in a busy production unit assisting on all day-to-day tasks.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • To understand the full range of products and services offered by the company
  • To ensure that all assembly jobs are produced promptly and efficiently; that all jobs meet the customer’s requirements for quality and accuracy; key details of production methods are recorded and entered on job cards
  • To ensure, established procedures, are followed
  • Produce product form customer artwork ensuring established procedures are followed to guarantee the quality of print and deadlines are reached
  • The role will require responding to the changing needs of the business and additional duties that may be requested by the Directors and Manager from time to time. Some special events may require working outside of core business hours
  • Liaise with sales department on job detail and lead times of work in Current schedule
  • To ensure all jobs are checked against job card details countersigned before despatch

From April 1st, 2021, the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £4.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18-year-old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship.

For all other Apprentices, the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both times spent on the job plus time spent training.
