This apprenticeship will support and train you to be able to:
- Managing our product suppliers and test houses in Far East
- To ensure product compliance in each region the products are sold
- To ensure factory compliance to relevant legislation
- To report to regional compliance scheme products placed on each market
- Collect data from suppliers on environmental performance and produce relevant reports
- Produce reports on product quality
Duties may include:
- Monitor New Product Development projects, failure mode and performance testing
- Maintain the product technical files in accordance with relevant legislation
- Ensure that factory Technical and Corporate Social Responsibility certification is kept up to date, ensuring all corrective actions are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure product UK and EU compliance certification remains valid
- Collect factory environmental data to support customer reporting on carbon emissions etc.
- Collect product data to enable customer and scheme reporting of WEEE, Battery and Packaging
- Ensure calibrated equipment and external documents (such as Product Standards) are kept up to date
- Management of Golden Samples across various sites
- Support the Sales Teams by providing compliance information on request
- Support the Quality Team on product quality using consumer reviews, returns data and physical examination of the products

Desired qualifications
Mandatory
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4/C and above or National 5 at Bands A-C including mathematics, English and a Science (or equivalent)

- Higher academic qualifications, e.g., A levels or BTEC (welcome but not essential)

Our last apprentice has remained with us full time and is being sponsored through her degree.
We would be hoping for a successful apprentice to remain with us long term
