Duties will include:

Marketing:

  • Posting relevant Instagram/Facebook stories to both social media accounts
  • Management of customer reviews, responses, reporting on quantities/outcomes
  • Monthly review of all booking agents/wedding websites to ensure all content is relevant
  • Updating Blog account as and when required
  • Ensure all collateral around the hotel is up to date, liaise with in-house Marketing Team if new table talkers/posters/leaflets/clip frame content etc are required
  • Direct Marketing to guests i.e. contacting bookings via pre-arrival emails/upsells
  • Other marketing related tasks as and when they arise

Events:

  • Assist with gathering together event collateral to prepare for in-house functions
  • Stepping in to give show arounds of the venue for weddings/events when required
  • Other event related tasks as and when they arise

  • For example, if you already have a Level 4 qualification you still may be able to complete an apprenticeship at any level providing you meet the eligibility criteria and are learning substantive new skills

Minimum wage

  • The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.30 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
  • Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £6.56 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £8.36 for anyone aged 21-22 and £8.91 for anyone aged 23 and over
  • Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week)
