Duties include:

  • To ensure that ordering paperwork is attached to the CRM system in a timely manner to enable staff to access it when required
  • To ensure that manufacturing photographs are attached to CRM system in a timely manner to enable staff to access it when required
  • To ensure that all orders for extra parts are processed fully and within deadlines
  • Monitoring the progress of roof orders, ensuring the all stages are processed within deadlines
  • Assisting with the ordering of roof glass
  • Assisting with the ordering of roofs
  • Assisting with the ordering of job specific materials for solid roofs
  • Ensuring that purchase orders on the CRM are accurate
  • Checking invoices from suppliers
  • Assisting with the upkeep of the orders / quote mailbox

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages in particular excel with the ability to type accurately with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing and develop a good rapport with all contacts
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A good mathematical knowledge demonstrated by a grade 4/C or above at GCSE or equivalent level
  • A strong team player who works well on their own initiative with a can-do attitude
  • The ability to demonstrate effective time management

Personal qualities

  • A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • A highly motivated individual with a can-do approach to work and the ability to get the job done in the required timescale
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work

Desired qualifications

  • Maths Grade C/4 or above in GCSE or equivalent is desirable but not essential
