This fantastic opportunity is with a fabulous growing business in Northumberland. This apprenticeship will provide a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to learn a vast array of engineering skills associated with a CNC machining workshop.
Tasks will include:
- They will produce a range of complex components, using a variety of materials for use in a number of industrial sectors; typically offshore oil and gas
- This Level 3 CNC machining apprenticeship will teach the apprentice the many skills associated with a CNC machinist. It will include turning, milling and various other machining activities
- After a period of time the apprentice will then work on the latest high tech CNC equipment
- They will eventually be responsible for planning and programming the machines

Desired qualifications
- The candidate must have at least 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade 4 / C or above including Maths & English Language
- Please note that Level 2 Adult Literacy and Level 2 Adult Numeracy will not be accepted. This is due to the apprenticeship framework requirements
- This can suit a candidte who is currently studying GCSEs / A Levels or a candidate who will have secured the level 2 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Diploma qualification. (college or training provider practical training)
