Business Administrator assigned to the Project Office
As the Project Office Administrator (Apprentice), you will be the individual responsible for assisting the various projects in all administrative duties supporting the payroll process ensuring all daily employee records are submitted by the deadlines.
Specific duties
Able Uk Seaton is a Port so it is essential that Compliance with Company and Project safety, health and environment regulations.
Document Control
- Scan and save documents in the relevant folders on the Able server
- Organise project related documentation
- Request missing documentation
Weekly Payroll Process
- Refer to the time and attendance system ensuring missing times are queried
- Sort and number manual timesheets
- Scan vehicle logs and ensure accessible from Head Office
- Scan and log employee holiday and absence forms in a timely manner
- Once documentation has been scanned and saved on the Able server, file accordingly
- With supervision, prepare the weekly payroll excel workbook and ensure submitted on time
Administrative Duties
- Filing
- Update spreadsheets when required
- Prepare the meeting room for meetings

Minimum wage
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.30 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £6.56 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £8.36 for anyone aged 21-22 and £8.91 for anyone aged 23 and over.
