Things to consider

  • Be committed to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and young people – Maintain safeguarding training and liaise and support the safeguarding lead as and when required.
  • Actively engage with necessary training and accreditation process to achieve the Level 3 qualification in a reasonable time and no more than 24 months. This is typically 15 months but will depend on the individual.
  • Take part in performance management reviews
  • Learn to understand how to comply with data protection law and support the MAT Data Protection Officer in maintaining compliance
  • Comply with the policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, equal opportunities, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
  • Your core hours will not be changed without discussion with your line manager.
  • Hours of work/designated lunch times may be subject to change for operational reasons
  • This role requires working across the MAT sites
