This role will involve:
- Cleaning designated facility areas
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Preparing areas and surfaces for painting
- Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
- Floor refurbishment and decoration as the project requires
- Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner
- Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach or tidy the project
- Removing fixtures such as door knobs and light switch covers; Cleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures
- Carrying out gardening duties and grass cutting, requiring a minimum amount of supervision and use of own initiative
- The use of a wide range of hand tools, powered hand tools, such as strimmers, hedge cutters etc. Guidance & training for the use of tools will be provided
- Ensuring that all tools, garden equipment and machinery are correctly maintained and serviced and that they are kept in good and safe working order
- Any work as asked by line manager pertaining to site maintenance
