A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Wessex Group as an Apprentice IT Support Assistant, working within a friendly team to provide daily, first line IT support across the business.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Level 3 (A level)
This position will be working alongside the current IT team members, aiming to provide day to day support on the help desk, providing first line IT support and advice across the business.
You will be involved in all aspects of IT, including:
- Setting up computers
- Installing software
- Keeping IT records and documents up to date
- Recycling old IT equipment
- Helping staff use devices and software
You will have the opportunity to work with other experienced IT professionals and learn about network configuration, database administration, web application development, and IP telephony.

4-9 (A-C) GCSE maths and English (or equivalent)
There may be opportunity for the right candidate to remain in a permanent role within the organisation and increase their level of responsibilities accordingly upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
