Veolia Water Technologies – providing sustainable water solutions... Veolia understands the specific needs of its clients, helping them to reach their goals by providing innovative water treatment solutions in line with the highest quality standards, improving processes and reducing costs. As a field service engineer you will be required to give our clients the best in class quality service. You will provide on-site corrective/preventive maintenance for customer’s water treatment equipment, including equipment swap outs, emergency response. Once fully trained and competent you will be required to carry out commissioning work on standard equipment, and provide after-sales technical and commercial support.
As part of this role you will also be required to complete risk assessments, work reports, activity reports and other documentation Supporting the Service Engineers onsite to carry out:
- Breakdown work – troubleshooting /fault finding Preventative maintenance work for customers with service contracts
- Commissioning work - involving the installation of new products
- Timely reporting on progress or delays for customers
- Timely completion and submission of risk assessments, work reports, time sheets and all other work related documentation
- Site tasks and activities as required
- After-sales technical and commercial support to customers.

Desired qualifications
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 / C or above is required, and this must include Maths and English language.

Things to consider
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.30 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £6.45 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.70 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
