We are looking at offering the opportunity to a hard-working individual to carry out an apprenticeship in customer services while working within the Global Telemetrics stores department. The following is a list of duties and responsibilities that will be expected of you whilst in employment with Global Telemetrics.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the assembly and testing process of the tracking systems
- Documenting and updating information through our database
- Updating and maintaining device information and sharing with other teams
- Understanding the tracking device operations
- Liaising with internal teams and customers
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Soldering experience but not essential
Personal qualities
- An interest in electronics but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently within a team
- Can show initiative to solve problems
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Punctual
- Presentable (uniform will be provided)

Desired qualifications
Apprentices with GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and maths is exempt from Functional Skills.
If apprentices have grade D/3 GCSE or complete an initial BKSB Assessment at Level 1 they can complete Level 2 Functional Skills as required alongside their Apprenticeship.
Future prospects
Potential opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Over time available at time and a half. Opportunities for increase in salary throughout Apprenticeship duration.

Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 1/2 Functional Skills English and maths (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
End-Point Assessment (EPA) is the final stage that an Apprentice goes through to complete their Apprenticeship. The Apprentice must show their learning to an independent end-point assessor and the grades available are distinction, pass or fail.
The EPA will consist of:
- Written Knowledge Test
- Assessment of portfolio of evidence
- Observation in workplace
- Professional discussion relating to CPD activity
On Programme Assessment Includes:
Regular formative assessment, development of a portfolio demonstrating learning and development activities with their application in the workplace and a work-based project. As part of the qualification, Apprentices must complete all units and be competent in real work environment.
