DAM Structures are looking for two apprentices to join their production team as Apprentice Production Engineer. You will work towards a Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship standard.

Day to day duties will include:
- Gas cutting/profiling
- Fabrication plater/welder

5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths, English, and science.
For the apprentice who shows a willingness to learn, a full-time position will be offered upon completion.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (including a range of Level 2 Practical units)
- Portfolio of Evidence (Workplace Qualification)
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
You will undertake on-the-job training at DAM Structures where you will receive mentoring from an engineer to learn the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to become competent in your role.
You will then attend Derwent Training in Malton one day a week to complete the Technical Qualifications as part of the Apprenticeship.
As part of the Apprenticeship Standard you will be required to pass an End-Point Assessment to gain your certification.
