The role is to be proactive and a great learner from our Head Waitress. Learning whilst working, you will be trained in all aspects in the front of house duties and will be willing to go the extra mile with regards to excellent customer service and working as part of a team during busy times.

Level 2 (GCSE)
- To assist the head waitress and the rest of the team and follow instruction where required
- Learn the menu to enable you to answer questions and food and bar products
- Food and Beverage Service
- Taking and fulfilling orders
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements and prospects
Be able to work under pressure
Be able to learn about products/food/ingredients - especially regarding food allergies
Good communication and customer service skills
Polite and well mannered
Willingness to learn
Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 3 GCSE's A-D or 9-3 Grade (or equivalent qualifications) preferably including Maths & English
No other qualifications are required as full training will be given
If you do not hold a qualification in Maths & English at level 2, you will be required to do Functional Skills in these subjects prior to the completion of the apprenticeship.
We would look to appoint any candidate that we feel has progressed both through on the job training and also on their own steam!
Things to consider
Due to the nature of the industry, you must be prepared to work weekends and bank holidays etc.

This is an Apprenticeship as a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member and will include a combination of on and off the job training in the workplace. You will have monthly mentoring and guidance at work from a Craven College Learning & Development Advisor alongside weekly college attendance. After 12 months you will be entered to undertake an End Point Assessment, to complete your Apprenticeship
