This is a full time post, with the right candidate working as part of a team, helping to provide 24 hour residential care for people living with dementia. Working within an experienced team, you would be expected to work shifts with some weekends on and off.

The Apprentice will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the shift, to ensure all daily task and objectives are met.
You will gain experience in a working environment, and learn how to communicate with nurses, Doctors and other visiting professional bodies.
Duties to include:
- Assisting the residents in all daily tasks
- Activity duties
- Personal care duties
- Taking telephone calls
- Filling out relevant documentation
- Offering assistance to clients
- Clinical and general cleaning

The ideal candidate will have friendly and compassionate personality. Candidates will need to have a mature attitude and be able to remain calm in difficult situations.
Desired qualifications
