Day to day duties will include:

  • Using 3D CAD software
  • Helping to model and produc engineering drawings which will be used to produce parts and fabrications on the shop floor
  • Monitoring and tracking stock levels using the company's inventory software, ensuring that material and parts required for the day's work are available to production
  • Monitoring and altering the work schedule using resource planning software to meet customer demand and material availability
  • Organising the flow of work through the workshop based on demand

Desired skills

Logical problem-solving skills, good mathematics ability, attention to detail especially when dealing with figures/ dimensions. Can work independently and is self-motivating.

Personal qualities

Polite and confident when speaking to both customers and fellow employees. Punctual Proactive

Desired qualifications

GCSE 4(C) in English and Maths as minimum

Engineering qualifications preferred, but not essential

Future prospects

For the right candidate we can offer progression to take charge of quality control and lean protocols within the business as well as development of our e-commerce products.
