A well-established team of financial advisors based near Dover are seeking an administrator to work with other members of our team to provide a professional ongoing financial planning service for our clients. Working with us will give you exposure to all aspects of financial planning including investments, pensions, mortgages and protection and tax and estate planning. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have at least some experience of working in financial services and are keen to develop their knowledge of our industry. Full study support towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning will be offered to the right candidate, and with experience the successful candidate will gain responsibility for more technical paraplanning cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with telephone / email enquiries
  • Handling a range of accounts and administrative tasks including reconciling commission payments and completing the month end reports
  • Update and maintain the firm’s records / registers as required and ensuring information is added correctly
  • Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Issuing our initial disclosure documents
  • Conduct anti-money laundering checks in line with regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensure these conform to compliance procedures at all times
  • Liaising with product providers, mortgage lenders and estate agents.
  • To prepare and submit client applications
  • To discuss cases with the advisors and provide regular updates on the progress of applications and ongoing support
  • Producing client review packs
  • Provide a point of contact for clients and deal with any queries effectively

Requirements and prospects

  • Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to perform as part of a team to deliver the best outcome for our clients
  • Confident in handling client queries by telephone and by email
  • Data entry and knowledge of accounts
  • Proficient with MS Office and Excel
  • Some knowledge of pensions and investments would be advantageous
