This role is primarily office based & includes many varied duties, which include but are not limited to:

  • Taking sales & processing orders, invoicing & dispatch handling
  • Maintaining our eBay shop
  • Designing our company brochure & literature and compiling mailshots
  • Maintaining and development of our website
  • Generate email mailshots
  • Maintaining our customer database
  • Update/produce instruction manuals

The role offers the opportunity to experience and learn all aspects of office administrative duties and the successful candidate(s) will be expected to be able to apply themselves to many varied tasks.

  • Proficient ICT skills (with knowledge of Word & Excel and ideally Access)
  • Experience of Adobe Photoshop and eBay (advantageous but not essential)

Future prospects

This is a long-term position for the right candidate(s) way beyond the duration of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider

Candidate(s) must be able to apply themselves to multiple tasks.  They should be confident to inform/ask other members of staff about tasks.

The position is predominantly office based using a computer, however packaging and labelling of goods, stock taking, measuring goods etc in our warehouse will also be expected.
