Reporting to Senior Carer and Manager, key responsibilities range from:

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of individualised care and comfort to service users
  • To work closely as a team member Light cleaning duties Assist service users, where appropriate in all aspects of care connected with daily living.

Ranging from:

  • Mobility, dressing, undressing, bathing, toileting and nutrition
  • Help promote social activity
  • Attend to laundry service Maintain very high hygiene standards
  • Report any concerns or worries to senior staff
  • Provide a sense of well being to service users
  • Maintain good relationships with relatives of service users
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures

Things to consider

Additional training by employer will commence prior to apprenticeship enrolment. Tunic supplied plus Standard uniform. Area of responsibility will generally be in area of candidates residence such as the Dronfield and Killamarsh areas.

�The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is �3.40 per hour (raising to �3.50 per hour 1st April 2017). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.�
