Applications are invited from individuals who have experience of working in an ICT environment, with the ability to communicate technical issues simply and effectively to a diverse range of audiences. We are looking for self-motivated, organised, reliable individuals. You will have a solid work ethic, working alongside teaching and support staff, supporting the full range of ICT systems.  This role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their IT knowledge and develop their career in a growing multi-academy trust.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to staff and students on the use of the school’s ICT systems
  • To support teaching and learning in the general running of the ICT rooms to ensure lessons are efficiently serviced
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware
  • Installation of software and hardware

 

 

Ideally for this role you need experience in:

 

  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • Microsoft Server 2016 & 2019
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Office 365
  • Group policy management
  • Google Admin, Drive, Classroom and Meet
  • Networking
  • Hardware and Software support

Desired skills

  • Experience of working in an ICT environment.
  • Working in local authority/education environment is desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding and ability to use relevant technology.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team. · Good communication skills
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults.
  • A good, working knowledge of current computer operating systems.
  • Good organisation, planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Methodical with good attention to detail

Desired qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 for practitioners or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE or equivalent Maths)
