You be an important member of the team providing administration support for the Mortgage Administration & Wealth Administration Departments. Every member of our team plays a key role in the customer journey, we have a tight knit youthful culture of teamwork and shared responsibility.

Job role will include the following duties:

  • Maintaining and adding data to the back-office IT system
  • Answering the telephone
  • Scanning, photocopying and verifying documents
  • Quality checking application forms and industry documents
  • Providing administrative support across the business
  • Chasing providers/lenders/solicitors for case updates
  • Answering and replying to emails

Any other administration or support as required Full Training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability.

If the apprentice proves to be successful during his/her apprenticeship, the learner can progress to permanent administrator, and there are various other departments across the company that the candidate can apply to if interested.

  • Financial Services regulation and Ethics  - Chartered Bankers Institute (CB)
  • Introduction to Securities and Investment; UK financial regulation; Administration of settlements and investments – Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI)

The Apprenticeship standard sets out the essential Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours that somebody would need to demonstrate to be successful in this job role, this includes a good understanding of financial services products relevant to their role, developing effective relationships with customers, and showing drive and energy in their work even when challenges arise. Apprentices will need to show they are competent in all the areas detailed in the standard when they take End Point Assessment.

The Knowledge areas of the apprenticeship will be covered through completion of our dedicated training modules which have been mapped to the standard. The Skills and Behaviours are developed through practical experience gained in the job role, workplace training and mentoring, and the completion of a work-based project.

This standard puts the apprentice on the pathway towards completing further professional qualification papers with the CII, this could lead to the completion of qualifications such as the Certificate in Insurance, Certificate in Financial Services or a specialism apprenticeship (typically Level 3 or 4) depending on which paper is taken.
