- You will learn to position, assemble, install and dismantle plant & equipment which could include motors, switch gear, cables, conductors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, pipework to agreed specification
- You will develop the skills to replace, repair and/or remove components and ensure its return to operational condition
- You will be able to inspect and maintain plant & equipment to meet operational requirements
- All whilst developing the skills to comply with industry Health, Safety & Environment working practices and regulations

Desired qualifications
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4/C or National 4 at Bands A-C (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English and a Science is required for this role

Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticship Standard:
- The Apprenticeship programme will provide you with the skills, knowledge and behaviours you need to become a fully qualified Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician. Working with experienced BOC Engineers and Service/Maintenance Technicians you will be applying your skills and knowledge to real life situations and play a vital part in maintaining and improving the services of BOC
