Joining the team as IT Support Engineer Apprentice, you will be based at the Head Office of Partnering Health in Whiteley. You will be assisting end users and healthcare SME customers when required. Additionally, you will be providing IT support to the company’s remote offices across Hampshire.

As a IT Support Engineer Apprentice, you will be:

- Providing 1st to 2nd line technical support to end users

- Troubleshooting and repair any hardware and software

- Resolving software and application issues

- Completing documentation and quick step deployment guides

- Providing appropriate support to staff using new technologies

Desired skills

As our ideal IT Support Engineer Apprentice, you will have a keen interest in IT and be eager to learn new skills. You will also require the following skills:

- Good technical understanding of IT

- Troubleshooting knowledge across Hardware, Operating Systems and Applications

- Self-motivated, keen to develop and desire to learn

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise

Personal qualities

- Experience / knowledge in telephony platforms

Desired qualifications

- GCSE maths and English grades A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalent

Future prospects

- Progression opportunity upon apprenticeship completion

Things to consider

Having a full driving licence would be advantageous as commuting to other company’s offices will be sometimes required.
