Apprentices will work alongside fully qualified parts and service advisors and be trained to source and supply vehicle parts and expertise to Technicians in the workshop and to external customers.
Duties will include:
- Stock management
- Identification and ordering of parts using IT
- Receiving and storing of parts
- Processing orders for non-stock
- Processing payment transactions
- Customer service
- Sales

Personal qualities
- A keen interest in the car industry with good communication skills both verbal and written
- The employer is looking for an enthusiastic learner that must be hard working and motivated to learn new skills
Desired qualifications
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in English and maths are required

Apprentices will be working and will be trained within the dealership and an advisor will visit at least every 4 weeks as part of a close support network to ensure that Apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course.
An Apprentice’s training includes:
- Industry recognised apprenticeship standard qualification
- Functional Skills (ICT, English and maths) - if required
- Vocational related qualification (technical certificate)
- Ford Masters Level 1 module (excludes Service Champions)
