We are looking for an apprentice to work as an Administration Assistant in an office for a client that deals within the freight and logistics industry.
This role is ideal for someone looking for their first position within administration or customer service.
Working in a small team, you will undertake a range of duties throughout your apprenticeship:
- Dealing with in coming calls from customers
- Taking accurate details
- Making out bound calls to suppliers to book drivers and then tracking the freight loads through a system and general administration
- You will begin with smaller deliveries and then increase onto larger contracts once you gain confidence within the role
For this position you will need to have excellent IT and communications skills and feel comfortable working on different software packages. This role is full time and the company are looking for someone to develop within the role and they will consider putting the right candidate through additional training to continue development.
