These are exciting and busy times at Flexicon! We are currently seeking exceptional candidates to join us as a Machine Operator using our Extrusion and Flexo machines. The role will be working in a high performing manufacturing team, setting and operating mini precision rolling machines (similar to spring manufacture or wire forming) which convert fine gauge narrow steel strip into finished product.
The role involves being able to safely operate and run up to 5 machines:
• To join conduit
• Loading coils using the quick change coiler and operate lifting equipment
• Threading coil strip through form-rolls, straight and curve guides.
• Complete production documentation i.e. weight per meter, number of coils used, quantity of material used per shift etc.
• Transfer finished conduit into the material stores
• Clean and store all tooling used post production run.
