- To carry out two years of referencing checks per candidate, following agreed policies and procedures.
- To apply where applicable for DBS’s for candidates following the companies policies and checklist to ensure all information required has been actioned and verified.
- To verify candidates DBS via the update service and save this information in the candidate’s compliance folder.
- To carry out right to work checks, verify these documents and sign copies before placing in the candidate folder and onto adapt for payrolling purposes.
- Carry out further ID checks in accordance with our 13-point check, verify, sign, and save the copy in the candidate’s compliance folder.
- Where applicable and in line with our polices to carry out qualification checks and verify teachers Qualified Teacher Status
- To check each candidates Date of Birth and obtain x2 applicable proof of addresses which are saved in the candidate’s compliance folder.
- Perform where applicable overseas police checks in line with company’s safeguarding procedures.
- To carry out confirmation of name change checks in line with company’s safeguarding procedures.
- To check through application pack and ensure fit to work, GDPR declaration is completed along with company engagement and safeguarding declaration.

- To action all compliance stages of the candidate journey in conjunction with your KPI’s and to ensure that each stage is done accurately and within the agreed timeframes.
- To police, uphold and protect the integrity of Change Educations 13-point compliance check and ensure these safeguarding checks are carried out on all Change Education candidates.
- To keep the compliance tracker updated and folders of all compliance candidate packs that will be audited weekly by the MSQC and bi-weekly by the NDSQC
