The successful applicant will undertake a variety of administrative responsibilities:
- To extract new orders from client database
- Prepare customer orders digitally and prep for print
- Add & generate shipping labels for all said orders from various courier systems (RM, APC, DPD)
- Answer email queries from this particular corporate client
- Send order fulfilment information to said client
- If & when times allows to create new card designs for catalogue collection (full training will be provided).
Requirements and prospects
- IT & digital skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in person, telephone and email)
- Time management and the ability to work to deadlines
The successful applicant will have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade C/4 and above or equivalent with English and mathematics inclusive
It is hoped that the successful applicant will continue to work on a permanent basis with Avacardy following completion of the apprenticeship (this will be dependent upon performance throughout the duration of the apprenticeship programme).
If it transpires that continued employment with Avacardy is not the preferred option, the training, experience and qualifications gained throughout the apprenticeship will stand the apprentice in very good stead to gain future employment.

- Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
Apprentices will gain experience in managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours – Learners and employers will have a range of options to select from that cover each knowledge module of the apprenticeship standard.
Functional Skills - These provide practical skills to help gain the most out of work, education and everyday life. Learners will complete written and online tests.
End point assessment - The End Point Assessment is the final stage of the apprenticeship. It comprises written and practical tests as well as a professional dialogue and interview.
