If you want to swap your pen for some tools and learn in a practical environment, this apprenticeship is ideal. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support the current Site Supervisor in managing the school site, you’ll discover new skills and gain a qualification.

No two days are the same and regular duties will include:

  • Carrying out maintenance of the buildings and grounds
  • Setting up rooms for special events and functions
  • General cleaning
  • Removal and transport of refuse and furniture
  • General portage and site security
  • Landscaping actives
  • Obtaining quotes from external contractors for larger or specialist repair jobs

You will be given training in all aspects of caretaker duties to enable you to work safely with tools, ladders, maintenance equipment and materials.
