Seakargo Ltd is a rapidly expanding company across all aspects of the logistics industry. Seakargo Ltd have departments in Forwarding, Customs, Transport, Warehousing, and Container Storage. Based in Felixstowe, Seakargo Ltd operate from their head office, their warehouse and offices located on Felixstowe docks, and two container yards. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing Freight Forwarding company within the Felixstowe area.

This job role involves working within the Forwarding department with the operations and sales team. The forwarding department is at the centre of all the departments. It involves working with a learning all the different aspects of logistics and working with the different departments to provide an all-in service for the clients. You will be quoting and processing the shipments with new and current clients. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quoting new sales leads
  • Speaking to current clients and providing new and alternative solutions that we can offer
  • Processing shipments being exported and imported around the world
  • Creating and sending customs clearance instructions
  • Keeping up to date with client’s inventories
