Exciting new opportunity for a Business Administrator to join newly established and busy team. Working to provide proactive administration support, this role will support the Chief Financial Officer and other Directors across a broad range of tasks, where each day differs from the next.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with accounts you will work across the management accounting function, doing bank reconciliations, deposits to processing refund requests
  • You will also work with the management team to assist with diary management, ensuring that invites are sent out for meetings, equipment requests are met, and full travel and accommodation needs are organised with itineraries created were applicable
  • Dependent upon the size of the meeting you will assist with the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes and the collation of ad hoc reports where needed
  • Although this role is predominantly focused on Finance your position will include cross-collaboration with other departments and there will be times when you will assist other Directors with their projects
  • Organisation is key to this role and you will have input into a variety of ad hoc reports, particularly month end reports
  • You will need to exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills as well as having the ability to multi-task across several activities under strict deadlines
  • To be aware of and comply with all company policies and procedures

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Relevant experience is similar role delivering in a busy corporate office environment is desirable
  • Good administrative skills
  • Authentic and a high level of integrity as this role will be dealing with confidential and at points sensitive information
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to understand budgets and cost tracking

Personal qualities

  • Excellent organisation skills to include time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Strong work ethic with excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility in order to get the job done and work under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Driving licence desirable but not essential

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE Grades A-C/9-4 maths & English (or equivalent) and IT skills required
