Duties will include:

  • Managing the Petty Cash and updating  the Petty Cash spreadsheet  ready for month-end
  • Client invoicing and self-billing  on our timesheet  portal
  • Dealing with & processing timesheet s & timesheet queries
  • Processing staff expenses - checking the receipts against expense forms before sending to the Finance Manager for pa As well as updating the payroll expenses spreadsheet ready for month-end
  • Tracking monthly managed  service   and   prepayment invoices
  • Processing POs – tracking, updating, reconciling & sending regular updates to the Finance Manager
  • Posting purchase invoices on Sage
  • Posting bank transactions on Sage
  • Reconciling creditor accounts/ accounts payable
  • Scanning accounts documents – remittances, receipts, invoices

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Previous qualifications or experience within Math's or Finance is advantageous.

Personal qualities

  • Strong ability in maths and English
  • Team player
  • Able to work independently

Desired qualifications

  • Good academic background (A*-C GCSE / A-levels) – Must have at least a C/4 (or equivalent) in both maths and English

Future prospects

  • Upon completion you may be offered the opportunity to progress into a higher level apprenticeship or full time employment

  • This is an apprenticeship expected to last up to 21 months
