You will be working closely with your Employer on a day to day basis, so need to have good communication skills and a willingness to learn all aspects of the Construction Plastering trade.

You will have a work trial in the first instance and from there, the Employer will ascertain your suitability for an Apprenticeship with the Company.

You will need to be keen & enthusiastic as the job can be quite demanding as it would be working to timelines and have a polite manner as you will be working alongside a team of tradespeople on a day to day basis.

Plastering is a great trade to get into and you will thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the learning and practical elements of this qualification, both in work and at College.

  1. Assist plastering operatives in the provision of maintenance and construction
  2. To use and maintain necessary tools and equipment in accordance with applicable codes of practice
  3. Assist with the maintaining of a clean and tidy work environment following supervisor/mentor instructions at all times
  4. Attend training courses and complete all required work within target timescales as set out in your individual learning plan, reviews, college time tables, tutor instructions
  5. To assist in maintaining a healthy, safe and secure environment and to act in accordance with the Councils policies and procedures
