The Project Engineer Apprentice will have a key role to play in assisting the Global Project Team with the smooth running of stage engineering projects, enabling the continual growth of the business. The role holder will work alongside an experienced Project Manager to learn all aspects of the role and to develop key skills, as part of job.

Roles and Responsibilites:

  • Communicating with internal and external clients in a clear, professional manner at all times always remembering that you are representing the company
  • Liaise with the Senior Project Closure and Evaluation member of the team regarding any on site deliveries as any delivery notes must be passed back to the relevant person
  • Work with the Project Managers and supporting staff to ensure that you have all of the relevant parts lists, health and safety equipment and are aware of the relevant logistics to carry out the required installation to the best of your ability
  • Liaise with the Senior Project Closure and Evaluation member with regards to any Plant that you require and advise on when this can be returned
  • Carry out your tasks using the highest levels of health and safety. If you do not feel that you can maintain these levels, then you must inform your project manager before commencing any work
  • You must ensure that your work time sheets are handed in on time and are filled out correctly. These must clearly show the job, hours worked and contract number
  • Any expenses allocated against a project must be in line with the company expense policy and when making an expense claim must have the relevant contract number allocated and be submitted in a timely manner
  • Carry out any other necessary ad-hoc duties, as requested by Project
