As an apprentice, your duties will include:

  • Setting up materials for the day ahead
  • Loading materials on the van
  • Assisting with installing wire systems
  • Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults
  • Complying with health and safety regulations
  • Assisting with second fixing of lights and sockets
  • First fixing of sockets
  • Consumer units (circuit board)
  • Understand how to plan and oversee electrical work activities
  • Terminating and connecting conductors

The candidate will complete on-site training and formal classroom-based training. The formal training will be provided on a block release basis in the Exeter area.
