Duties Include:

  • Be a reliable member of a team, working co-operatively and with flexibility
  • To follow the Brightsparks Routine and to adhere to the nursery policies
  • To learn to work within the EYFS Guidelines
  • To develop good communications with parents / guardians, encouraging them to participate in their child’s progress and development and make them feel welcomed at all times
  • To work with enthusiasm and motivation at all times
  • To assist with the supervision of the children and ensure their safety at all times
  • To ensure quality interaction with the children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes
  • Assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive nursery environment.                  
  • Attend parent meetings, be involved in fundraising events and assist with the promotion of the nursery
  • Assist with the care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the Nursery and to adhere to the room’s cleaning schedule

Brightsparks Day Nurseries have been established to provide part-time and full-time care in safe, stimulating and enjoyable environments.


We offer both 15 hours and 30 hours a week funding for 3 and 4 year olds and some 2 year olds. Our Croydon Nurseries also offer discounts for full time places and we accept all childcare vouchers
