We operate between 8am-6pm Mon-Fri.   you will help set up tables and clear away. Support the children at mealtimes and their day to day care needs as well as their social skills. The daily support of all the children.


Typical duties include:

  • developing and providing safe and stimulating learning activities based on educational frameworks
  • liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors
  • monitoring and assessing children’s progress
  • maintaining records.

Desired skills

Previously gained qualifications are preferable but a desire to work with children is essential. Experience can help

Personal qualities

Willing to learn and accept support. Kind, Caring and Honest. A good work ethic

Desired qualifications

Maths and english grade 4 or GCSE C (or functional skills level 2)


Future prospects

Working with children can be very challenging but also equally rewarding. Your day will be busy, but you will be supported. There is a garden and we also visit the local park. You will be required to work outside at this time. Sometimes when you first enter this environment, you may develop a cold. This is perfectly normal.

We are a small nursery with 2 rooms catering for children from 6month-5years.  Our total capacity is 45

We have a garden are we are next to Ravenscourt park for outdoor activities.

We follow the EYFS Framework and we are a close team.  Our ethos is to support children to develop ready for the next stage in their developmental journey.
