MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the undertaking of a daily programme of maintenance activities for example:
- Such as setting up and closing down hall PCs as required
- Ensure laptops are returned to charging devices ready for use the following day
- Responding to basic user needs and logging tickets with Protek support as necessary
User management :
- Add/reset/delete users logins/passwords and sharepoint access within agreed security parameters
- Undertake weekly check of printing/copier devices and supplies
- Support with curriculum programme support e.g. Purple Mash logins
Undertake programme of periodic maintenance for example:
- Cleaning PCs, projectors interactive whiteboards
- Checking updates have been applied
- Checking battery powered devices
Under the guidance of a teacher:
- Provide support to pupils and staff in the use of ICT systems and provide feedback to pupils relating to achievement
- Assist with hardware and software upgrades/support as identified by SBM/ICT
Co-ord/Network Management:
- Provide basic training to new users in the use of systems and support all staff as required
- Liaise with Network Management to log support tickets as required
- Maintain ICT equipment log
- Work within school policies to promote the welfare of children and to support the school in safeguarding children
- Promote E-Safety and Data Protection policy compliance
- Comply with school health and safety policies, procedures and rules, taking reasonable care of self and others
- Promote equality as an integral part of the role, treating everyone with fairness
- Participate in as many learning opportunities as possible
Any other duties which reasonably fall within the purpose of the post, and which may be allocated by the teacher or headteacher.
