A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service apprentice to join Universal Forwarding. This is a varied role which will include liaising with internal and external customers. You will be office based (around 95% of your working week) as well as working in the warehouse (5% of your working week) to assist with supporting the warehouse team with deliveries.
Main duties will include:
- Communicating over the telephone with clients and colleagues
- Work on reception area, meet and greet visitors
- Use excellent customers service continuously
- Supporting warehouse with deliveries
- Supporting delivery drivers with removing boxes
- Organise and report data
- Create sales invoices
- Input purchase invoices
- Use a diary system
- Sending and receiving emails
- Postal duties
- Filing and maintaining internal documents
- Store and retrieve information
- Scanning documents

Future prospects
Permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.
There could be progression within the organisation for the right applicant to move into more of a logistical / export role in the future if desired.
Things to consider
- As 5% of your job role will be working within the warehouse, the successful candidate must be physically able to cope with the demands of the role
- Wage will be reviewed on completion of probationary period (12 weeks)
