It is essential that the applicant is confident with numbers and has the ability to keep accurate written records as well as being able to create good working relationships within a busy team. This is a physically demanding role. This is a multi-skilled role which involves working across all production areas and may occasionally include other areas of the business as required.
Main Duties:
• Packing and Boxing.
• Roasting nuts.
• Counting.
• Weighing.
• Operating machinery.
• Cleaning.
Wage to be confirmed at interview relative to age and/or experience.

Desired qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5 GCSE in the range of A* to E (9-3), including English and maths (or equivalent qualifications) Individual employers will set the selection criteria for the applicant. Individuals who have not yet achieved English and Maths at GCSE Grade D/3 or above or, Functional Skills Level 1 (or equivalent qualification) or above will need to do so in order to complete this Apprenticeship.
Future prospects
Opportunity to gain full time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship. Possibility of further developing skills by undertaking the L3 Food and Drink Advanced Process Operator Apprenticeship.
Things to consider
Own transport is highly desirable due to the location of the business. Some heavy lifting required.
