Exciting new opportunity for an Outstanding ChildMinding Service based in Worksop on Kilton Hill. This is an independent family run business accommodating up to 12 children. The setting is as close to the 'home from home' feel as possible. It has its own kitchen area, bathroom facilities, which have been designed for wheelchair access, art area, lounge/comfy area, baby & sleeping area & playroom. The setting has underfloor heating to provide a luxurious feel and to keep our baby’s warm as they learn to crawl and walk. The setting has its own access and car parking facilities and a beautiful secure garden with an abundance of activities for children to freely play with, including a mud kitchen, den, herb garden and climbing equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building positive relationships with the children, families, colleagues and internal/external professionals
  • Ensuring that each child’s wellbeing is met and that they thrive in a safe environment
  • Safeguarding all children in our care
  • Observing, monitoring and engaging in children's play activities linked to the EYFS. Activities will support children’s language and literacy, art and design, numeracy and physical development
  • Keeping records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered
  • Learning how to provide high quality childcare to our children
  • Assisting in serving food to children, ensuring special dietary requirements are met
  • To work alongside Nursery Practitioners and assistants whilst contributing to the delivery of quality childcare provision

Since becoming a childminder in 2013 I have always been rated 'OUTSTANDING' by OFSTED including my most recent inspection which was in 2020. My setting is bespoke.
