Key responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

  • Engaging with clients upon receiving documents to tender
  • Creating project folders amalgamating all relevant documents received  
  • Print & produce/submit relevant package details to prepared take off documents including drawing quantities and relevant specification details in a timely manner to suit the bid timeline programme
  • Engaging with suppliers so a quotation of the required equipment is gained to build quotations
  • Preparing main sheets of quotations including the client and project details
  • Updating of electronic project logs
  • Filling of completed bids in order
  • Respond effectively to support the Bid Team during and post tender submittal
  • Gathering of completed project information from the projects team for handovers to the CAD team

Future prospects

Code are all about progression and welcome growth from within. The role will have the scope to grow into a full Design Estimator and QS for the right candidate. We conduct regular reviews to make sure all expectations from both parties are being meet. 

Things to consider

Free parking is onsite and the office is also on a local bus route.

This role is mainly based around working on a computer and talking on the telephone.

Code Security Systems Ltd specialise in the design, estimation, installation and maintenance of Fire & Security Systems and was formed by the Managing Director James Anthony Oliver in 2005 with James being the sole employee.

A lot has changed since 2005, with Code Security now employing 30+ PAYE full-time staff, full accreditations for all Fire & Security matters, have a fleet of vehicles and own our own offices. We now operate in many different sectors from Multi Dwelling Units, Office Fit Out and commercial space. The company is now structured into departments for each of these sectors and include in house CAD & Design and have a Turnover of Circa £4m.

Code Security Systems Ltd have been part of many regeneration and new build schemes across the London skyline and Essex areas.

We currently have a great order book and some very high profile and notable projects with many more in the pipeline.
